REDUX was featured in Lianhe Zaobao in an article discussing the rising demand for end-of-life solar panel recycling as solar adoption expands. The report cited NEA’s overview that Singapore has 200+ licensed e-waste recyclers, with a smaller group handling solar panels, and noted that recycling volumes are expected to rise as more systems approach replacement cycles.
The article referenced REDUX’s solar recycling set-up in Tuas, including the commissioning of a solar panel recycling machine introduced in September, and shared our early ramp-up progress—reporting that REDUX had recovered around 80 tonnes of end-of-life solar panels over the past two-plus months, with a target to reach profitability for the new business line within the next few years.

It also described the output streams (e.g., glass fragments and silicon-containing granules) and the importance of downstream partnerships to increase recovery value and improve overall recycling efficiency.
