REDUX was pleased to be invited by Channel NewsAsia (CNA) to contribute perspectives on the growing interest in the Batam–Bintan–Karimun (BBK) region, as the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) encouraged more firms—particularly in medical devices and electronics—to explore expansion opportunities across the Singapore–Indonesia corridor.

In the segment, our Business Development Director, Jeff Seah shared how proximity, space availability, and cost structures can shape cross-border strategies—especially for industries that require larger operational footprints. CNA also noted how BBK’s industrial parks and special economic zones are evolving alongside improved connectivity between Singapore and Indonesia.

At REDUX, we see strong alignment between these developments and the needs of modern industrial parks—where circular economy infrastructure and responsible end-of-life solutions (e-waste management, secure asset disposition, and recycling) can support sustainable growth across borders.

With appreciation to Mr Ang Yuit, president of ASME, for sharing his perspectives in the interview.
